Top Rated concrete hardscape, masonry, foundation, and structural concrete contractor.

Concrete driveways, walkways, patios etc, are commonly referred to as concrete hardscape or concrete flatwork. The entrance of your home is the first thing you and your guest notice when arriving.  This includes your concrete driveway and concrete walkway to your front door.  With the creativity of Concrete Etc. Concrete Contractor, your entrance can be as breathtakingly dramatic or elegantly simple as you wish.

We work closely with you to help conceptualize a concrete driveway, walkway or patio design that not only brings out the splendor of your home, but also addresses functionality.  Our goal is to give you what you want without compromise.  Once the construction blueprint of your new custom concrete driveway or concrete walkway design is complete, we form the perimeter of the driveway with a mixture of lumber and stakes, which creates a mold for the new concrete driveway, walkway, patio etc.  We then cross-reference the new concrete layout with the blueprint and lay in steel reinforcement to make the concrete driveway or concrete walkway stronger.

Don’t want a concrete driveway with square edges?  We can use custom creative forming techniques to give it a free-form, natural look, and shape it according to your specifications.

Concrete driveway Scorelines or Control Joints; it's an Industry Standard that concrete control joints are placed at a minimum of 8 to 10 feet on center covering the entire area of the new concrete driveway, walkway, sidewalk etc,. There are also many custom patterns and designs that we can create with scorelines like a checker board pattern or even a diamond pattern with a border. These joints can either be sawcut within 24 hours from the time the concrete driveway was poured or they can be tooled at the time the concrete driveway is poured.

Stamped concrete is concrete that has been patterned and/or textured or embossed to resemble brick, slate, flagstone, stone, tile, wood, and various other patterns and textures. The benefit of choosing a stamped concrete driveway, stamped concrete walkway or stamped concrete patio is that you can resemble the look of all the natural building materials for a fraction of the cost. There are three components to achieving a stamped concrete finish. (1) selecting an integral base color which would be the color mixed into the concrete. (2) selecting an additional accent color called color release, which adds another tone to the finish to give it that more natural look. The color release also acts as a bond breaker between the stamp and the concrete so that the wet concrete doesn't stick to the stamp when stamping the concrete. (3) selecting a concrete stamp pattern from various styles and textures. The concrete stamp pattern that is selected will be the final texture on the new stamped concrete reflecting the look of the natural building material desired such as cobble pavers, wood planks, tile etc. Please visit our products/services page for concrete colors and a link to the wide selection of concrete stamp patterns.

Sand finish concrete is a very popular and desired finish. This finish feels and looks sort of like sand paper and can come in different levels of roughness or grit depending on the level of retarding agent that is used. Sand finish is achieved by using a lighter exposure retarding agent that exposes the sand after the concrete is pressure washed.

Exposed Aggregate is a finish that is aquired by using a retarding agent on the concrete that is pressure washed off the next day that exposes the aggregate in the concrete. There are many different variations of colors and styles that can be acheived by using different colors of concrete as well as different colors of pebbles or aggregate.
